If you want to see the waterfall it’s best to plan your visit in spring or after a heavy downpour. There are also some caves that are fun to explore. Once inside the gorge, you will be impressed by the huge amphitheater that the river has carved out. You will first arrive at a bridge on top of the falls where you can descend a flight of stairs to descend into the gorge. Getting to the falls from the main parking lot will only take minutes. The cascade falls are situated in the main canyon and separate the upper and lower dells. Small streams have been carving out numerous gorges for hundreds of years.
